Surprise? Yeah it's surprising their offense was that bad.

They're an honestly horrific team with Alex Smith (huge freaking bust) leading the team (and sucking up tons of money). The guy looked good in Urban Meyer's spread offense at Utah but he's just not a good pocket passer in a traditional west coast offense.

His throwing mechanics alone make me want to puke. Along with Rivers, that's the ugliest release I've seen in a long time. Throw in the idiots/pussies they have playing WR (okay Battle ain't so bad) and they're wasting the talents they have with Vernon Davis and Frank Gore.

Defense is shaping up quite well but until that anemic offense gets anything going, they're going to stink. Oh and not to mention that the fucking Patriots have their 1st round draft pick. What a shame.
