Default Re: Which NFC QB Is Under The Most Pressure

OK it's obvious Alex Smith is the guy. He was the first overall pick and has had several years to prove himself and is definitely not getting it done.
  • Aaron Rodgers was drafted the same year but has been on the bench ever since.
  • Tavaris Jackson just completed his first "full" year and had a decent record to show for it even though his play was mediocre.
  • Tony Romo and Eli Manning are absolute jokes in this vote. One is a pro bowler that is leading one of the best passing games and the other was just Super Bowl MVP.
  • Jason Campbell (same draft class as Smith) and Donovan McNabb (poor play) are the closest two that a case can be made for
But just look at the veteran starting quarterbacks taken first in their drafts since 2003:
2003: Carson Palmer
2004: Eli Manning (not to mention Philip Rivers and Roethlisberger in the first round)
2005: Alex Smith
2006: Vince Young

Of all these quarterbacks, which one HASN'T made the playoffs? Hint: it's the one in bold.
