also what adding those sub forums does is make more for the moderators to follow....now im not saying being a mod means you dont have to do anything but when you have a moderator that has to tend to 30 different sub forums he/she could get burned out and let the forums slide thus bringing in more spam and un wanted threads...and if you added more mods it would kinda take away from the higherarchy of staff members...when everyone is a staff member it is hard to keep order....
the sub forum per team is a good idea on paper but when you lay everything out it just becomes way to complicated. for instance, Darius' NBA rumors thread would have to be split up in the the team threads...now personally i would rather read all the rumors in 1 thread instead of going to 30 different ones and taking 10 times as long. the forums need to be a place of quick information and quick responses.
now i am not bashing your idea, i am just trying to lay it out so you can kinda see what else would consist of the team forums.... now on the other had a good idea that is somewhat along the lines of your is to do what we have in the NFL section, devide it up by conference or even division...i hope this post helped you..
