i bought a 95 civic ex from josh not to long ago...well wit hthe high mileage and basic wear and tear to the motor it was leaking oil and had some problems going on with it...my last civic was white and i didn't want to have another white civic so i decided to do a color change...i also did some other basic upgrades and things i wanted to do to it...and now i have a freshly rebuilt d16z6 (stock motor the car came with) on the way with a new clutch and freshly rebuilt transmission...but i've wire tucked the engine bay and did a proportion valve/brake line tuck to it with a custom fuel set up thats hidden below the intake manifold and a custom steel braided clutch line that wraps around the motor and is out of site...

my painter can and got the front end of the car sunday night...said it'll all be done by thursday then next tuesday he is doing the doors, spoiler and trunk...then after that he will do the actual body/bay of the car and the interior (door jams, firewall, floor etc)
the color i am going with is a jade green metallic...it's a stock color that came on the 05 rsx and the newer Kia Sportage suv...it's a metallic pearl and i'm going with a 2021 clear coat...the paint job was quoted at 5 grand with materials...mostly because of the shop that i am getting to do the job normally only restores old classics for shows and collectors...they haven't sold a car for under 150k that i know of...they know what they are doing and do some of the best work i've seen in this area...the painter and body guys at the shops are really good friends of mine so i'm getting everything done on my car for 1450.00...pretty good imo
here's the paint just waiting
tonight the painter said he will get ready to spray the bumper and fenders...i might go by the shop and take pics for you guys...i'll update this as things progress and now i have a kid looking to get rid of his usdm itr swap out of his integra...so that might be another option for a motor in the civic...if not i'll buy it and sell it to my cousin to put in his teg :)
