This year's version runs a lot smoother. There is barely any lag.

The players don't all look bulky, and on steroids, which has made the look more realisitic. The stadium atmosphere has gone through a revolution (shading techniques, natural weather conditions, player/fan movements, etc.).

The player animations have really made me fall in love already, from the ballhandler reaching for that extra yard as he is on the way down to the ground to the reaction on both sides of the ball after a big play has taken place.
