Patriots sign John Lynch - The Postgame Pub

John Lynch has reached a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Patriots. DAMN. And they just keep adding and adding. Yeah he is older and on his last few years in the league but the leadership and lockeroom presence he will bring will be great. Plus Rodney Harrison is always hurt so havin Lynch to give him a break in certain situations here and there is invaluable. Great great move by the Pats.

Just bailed out of Denver and signed here because he wants another ring. I was hoping to see Brandon Merriweather get in there as a starter, but with Rodney and James Sanders in there, it's looking like he's the odd man out. Don't see this move being one that wins the Pats more games than they already would have. 12-4, 13-3 maybe

Ugh. The Patriots are becoming the Yankees of the NFL.
Sorry, but I really didn't want to see him sign with the Pats. I'd rather seen him retire.

Lynch will be a great addition to an already great team. The Pats scare me this year. (again) I think they will make another run for undefeated.

the pats are getting really good at getting the old players and making hem young for a couple more years...i was wondering why other teams werent that interested in Lynch...i guess the money could have been one thing...but it seems he can still preform at a good level
