Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who has missed each of the team’s three preseason games, reportedly has a “deep bone bruise,” according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Mortensen says that the team initially featured that there was a fractured bone in Brady’s foot, but that a CT scan ruled it out. Brady continues to practice without apparent limitation, and he suggested on Monday that he is ready to play. “Whether I play, or don’t play, I’d be ready no matter what,” he said. “It’s up to coach. I was hoping I could play last week. Coach made a decision not to have me play. We’ll see what the plan is for this week. I’m not sure. I’m hoping I’m always out there. If I don’t play, I’ll be ready for Kansas City.”

I know it's wrong to say this but I hope the guy doesn't play all season.

I cant stand Brady or the Patriots.

I'd love to see Brady miss time. Considering the Pats are 0-3 without him playing this preseason tells me that they wouldn't do well without Brady in the regular season.

Plus... I guess I'd love to see the Patriots collapse this year. lol

I think they have alot of depth where even if brady was out they would still be a .500 team

But to see them become a one sided team could make for a great beating in an already tough AFC north.

Have you seen Matt Cassel though? He looked pretty bad as the 'starting' qb.

I have not seen him. I just know they have a great O line, some good recievers and the running game is not too shabby.

Their D is also great

It's no secret that he was hurt before the Super Bowl and it's REALLY not a secret that it affected his play. Don't really hate the Patriots as much as most other people seem to, but it would be nice for the Jets to win the division with Favre.
