Bengals RB Rudi Johnson Expects To Be Traded Now - The Postgame Pub

Bengals RB Rudi Johnson, the third-leading rusher in franchise history, said Tuesday that he expects to be traded "any minute now." He returned to practice Monday and Tuesday after battling a hamstring problem and learned that the Bengals are offering him to other teams for a wide receiver. "It's out there, so evidently it's true," said Johnson, a fourth-round pick by the Bengals in 2001 who emerged as a starter in 2003. "It doesn't bother me one way or the other. I'm still going to do the same thing. It's part of the business." Johnson, a month away from turning 29, missed five games with a hamstring problem last year and he has yet to play this year because the other hamstring is acting up.

They will probably use their last preaseason game to showcase him.

Crono, the team that gets him will probably have to realize he may not play for a few games or at all this season.

they are going with chris perry........NO ONE WANTS ALEXANDER...i know he was good for you guys but he is to old, to slow, and if he was going to start somewhere he would be picked up already....he will find a job and split time at best....

and Darius if you noticed i picked up Chris Perry, he is my sleeper player this year...i had the chance to get Rudi Johnson 3 times and i stayed away from that....

The Bengals had strong interest in the off season, and he has expressed interest to go there as well. It wouldn't surprise me if he was going to go there to split duities with Rudi gone.

i have a feeling that Perry will be the man in Cinci....and if Alexander comes, Perry will just beat him out for the full time job..i really think Perry is gonna break through this year

I'm not expecting Shaun to be the starter, I'm just saying I'm thinking he'll be with the Bengals.

i dont know....i think it would be a waste of money for the bengals to get him...Chris Perry will be a starter and they have Kenny Watson as a 2nd stringer....

Kenny Watson rushed for 763 yards last year with 178 carries....4.3 yards per carry....thats not a bad thing to have at back up......

the bengals do not need alexander...
