Receiver Harry Williams underwent successful surgery on his spine and has been told by doctors that his career is over. Williams (6-2, 186 pounds), who had excelled on special teams, suffered a small fracture in his spine against the Dallas Cowboys on Friday. He collided with safety Nick Ferguson and was taken to Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Andrew Dossett, one of the Cowboys' physicians, performed the surgery.

I expected this, though it's a damn shame for someone still so early in his career.

At least the doctors think that he'll be able to walk again.

What a shame it killed his career.

At least he qualifies for full pension like Kevin Everett, that is the best that you can hope for when you can't play anymore.
