Sixers just resigned Iggy. 6 years 80 million. WAY overpaid, but thats the only options these teams have nowadays.

sixers are going to have a very nice team with miller iggy and brand. Not to mention I like Dalemberts game.

Ya the Sixers are gonna be good this year esp in the eastern conference.

I think they overachieved last season. They will be a solid team but not a contender.

6 years 80 mill........thats insane.....but he will blow up here in the next few years so its good they locked him up

Iggy is very nice defensively and in the lane but his outside shooting is very suspect and the sixers still lack a solid outside threat. I also think they played above themselves last year but with the addition of Brand they should at least duplicate their win total from last year.

I'd also be worried after Iggy dissapeared during last years playoff series against Detroit. He did absolutely nothing.

The first time I read the title, I thought he 'resigned' as in, left the team. Shocked the hell out of me.

That being said, he's a hell of a player, but not someone who should be built around I think. If you plug him into a decent team, with good roleplayers, that team skyrockets. But to have him as your core, means you'll be competitive, but I don't think you'll ever be the best.

Yeah I agree. He has never even been an allstar. He is rediculously overpaid. He also did NOTHING in last years playoffs.

i still think that he will step his game up in the next few years...yes they paid alot but it could save them more if he does get better...they have him locked up for the best part of his career..they will get the most out of him
