So do they have maybe an estimation of how long he will be out for?
And if he is out, who do you think they will put in the rotation? Hughes Or Kennedy??? Oh just an afterthought I think the yankees should go after Bronson Arroyo, that would be a good pickup for you guys. |

Ok the mets won the 2nd game of the doubleheader with a nice pitching performance by pedro.
Backed up by some timely hitting by Wright, Beltran, and Cancel. Now back to the west coast to face the Angels and then the rockies. God damn, these west coast road trips are getting annoying. |

I still think Willie is going no matter what. Too many rumblings being leaked out of the Mets front office.

Wang out for what will probably end up being the rest of the season due to a lisfranc fracture in his foot.

you owe it too the giambino right now to put him in your avatar. you have been calling for his head the past few seasons, even though he's always been one of your favorites. it's time for you two to kiss and make up.

as much as i hate to say it, the phillies look like the team to beat in the nl. no way in hell do the mets catch up to them, and the cubbies are simply no match for that phillies line up. if gillick can add another arm for that rotation (they certainly have the goods in the farm system to get something done, contrary to popular belief), and if they can stay healthy, they're going to be formidable for any american league club come october.
