Ok me and chubz we're having a bit of a disagreement on best players by position in MLB right now so lets see what everyone thinks so this will be interesting.


Catcher: Brian McCann
1st Baseman: Albert Pujols
2nd Baseman: Chase Utley
3rd Baseman: Alex Rodriguez
Shortstop: Jose Reyes
Right Fielder: Lance Berkman
Center Fielder: Carlos Beltran
Left Fielder: Matt Holliday
Pitcher: Tim Lincecum or Brandon Webb
Closer: Rivera or Wagner, Ill go with Rivera since he's in the AL
DH: David Ortiz

in what universe is lance berkman a right fielder? and how is jose reyes better than hanley ramirez?

Lance has RF eligibility so i couldnt resist putting him there due to his great start.

Here are Reyes Stats in comparison to Han Ram:

Jo. Reyes: .284/.347/.480 - 13 2B/5 3B/7 HR/25 RBI/36 R/18 SB
H. Ramirez: .299/.385/.483 - 8 2B/2 3B/9 HR/23 RBI/44 R/13 SB

I gave the nod to reyes cuz its kind of easy for han ram to produce when 15 people are watching you in FL. As you can see their stats are very comparable.

you're right. it's not like reyes has far more protection in the line up than ramirez does, or that ramirez ever gets pitched to, or anything like that.

why don't you post that you must keep it league specific then assh*le? ryan howard is as likely to play dh (during interleague play) as lance berkman is to play right field. let's also not forget david ortiz's stellar 2008 campaign thus far. now go f**k yourself simpleton.

hey now, there's nothing wrong with howard, well, he does strikeout alot but he makes up for it in Rs, HRs, RBIs

this is why i hate when roto-nerds act like they know anything about baseball. it's not like ryan howard hits 500 foot rockets, or that he crushed over 100 home runs over two consecutive seasons or anything like that.

Even if Ryan Howard was in the AL, David Ortiz is still better. And I dont have to be a little bitch and call me a simpleton and get all riled up. LOL, I guess we can't have a debate cuz some of us get their feelings hurt.

Oh yea and btw as for Ortiz's stellar campaign, this is what he's been doing in comparison to Howard:
