What is your favorite baseball moment?

For as long as you have been a fan of baseball, what was or is your favorite memory?

I have 2....one is Game 5 2001 World Series, the crowd chanting Paul O'Neil and it was the last time the home crowd would see Paul in a Yankees uniform. I know guys who were at that game and there were alot of moist eyes in the place.

The Other was Don Mattingly's last game at Yankee stadium as a player. The real Diehard Yankee fans, none of them had dry eyes. I was at that game and I saw some grown men cry on that day. I was about 16 years old, Mattingly was my favorite player.

I love watching Pujols' walk-off homer off of Brad Lidge, that is a fond memory. That and seeing the Cardinals win the Series are two things that I will always remember seeing in baseball. I don't watch much, but I was watching for those two. Classic stuff.

My favorite was Mike Piazza's Home run after September 11th. All the players were wearing caps of the NYPD, fire department, and coast guard. It was the first sporting event after the attacks and it was a dramatic ending to the game. Especially since my favorite player was Mike Piazza it made it that much sweeter.

Mine was definitely a playoff series. Becoming the first team to come back from 3-0 and win the series, against the Yankees of all teams. Winning the world series and stuff was great, but I don't think anything will ever top that ALCS.
