Default Interleague Play

How do you like Interleague play?

I personally think it's great, for a few reasons. For one, these teams get a chance to see what life is like on the other side of the fence. Whether it's using a Designated Hitter, or finally seeing that hot-shot young pitcher take his first at-bat in the Majors. Also, you get to see odd-job matchups, like Houston-New York, Chicago-Colorado, etc. etc.

It's good and entertaining when it's localized rivalries like Yankees/Mets, Angels/Dodgers, Cubs/Sox etc. But Rays and Padres? Really? Are people excited about seeing the Nationals vs Mariners?

Yeah interleague play is a good premise, But they over do it. It should be localized, like Yankees Vs Mets and Yankees Vs Phillies or nationals. thats it

I think the local interleague matchups draw more appluase, but some of these other series are kind of interesting. Boston playing at Cincinnatti since Game 5 of the 1975 World Series. Pete Rose was playing on that team mind you. That's pretty interesting history I'd say!
