If you started a team who would you pick? - The Postgame Pub

I am going with Albert Pujols. I know what Im getting from him year in and year out. 8 consecutive seasons of 30 HR's or more. Basically will give you 30 HRs, 100 RBIs, a nice OBP, and nice walk total. And he plays pretty good defense and can play corner OF spots as well. And he isn't a problem in the clubhouse as well.

But other then him... Idk... Ryan Howard maybe? Man, I can't believe how little I know about baseball now. I've been racking my brain for names but can only come up with names of all the old guys haha.

lol, I used to be a yankee fan. Anyways others would be obviously A-rod, possibly Reyes, Ortiz, and Howard would be a decent choice.

Im not sold on A-rod. He makes a TON of money and is a walking piece of controversy. He goes through stretches where he is just awful. Tons of talent but weak mentally.

Yea A-Rod does carry a lot of controversy with him, but in partly its cuz he's in New York. If he was in Texas or Seattle, they would love him. I think A-Rod just has to be less concerned about what people think about him and just play. He always wants to appease everyone, when he should realize that it's wishful thinking.
