Ok I'm going to go with the Angels of Anaheim. They have a very nice ace in John Lackey, followed up by 2 very surprising pitchers this year in Ervin Santana and Joe Saunders. Jered Weaver has kept the Angels in games and Jon Garland is their #5 which is pretty good to say that he is ur #5.

Angels do have a good rotation, for sure. I was going to say Rangers, as a joke of course.
Seattle was supposed to have a great lineup, but injuries and apparently the world ending ruined their shot this season. How can you count out Tampa Bay too? Their pitching has been great this season. Milwaulkee might be a sleeper as well, with Sheets and Sabathia. This shoud be a nice debate, because there are a good handful of contenders. |

Yea, it is if more people commented on who they thought. I wouldn't say the Brewers cuz Sheets has been pretty awful of late. A comparable 1-2 that I believe is just as good as the one in Milwaukee is Webb and Haren out in Arizona.

I wouldn't put the mets in that discussion just because Perez is so erratic against bad teams and Pedro has been inconsistent. Our 1-2 is pretty good with Santana and Pelfrey making it look very nice for us. I wish John Maine wasn't injured because imo he's the best #3 guy in the NL.
