I have the YES channel on DirectTV but when the game comes on it says it isn't available.

What gives?

i think its only available to people in the network area, try giving direct tv a call to find out more.

- because I'm out of market I'll only get a select few games off of the YES network. I will not get any replay games

and the only way to get most of the yankees games is the extra innings package like you said.
