White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen unleashed a profanity-laced outburst on a radio show Friday morning after the host questioned why starting catcher A.J. Pierzynski wasn't in the lineup for the interleague opener against the Cubs.

Guillen, on the way to Wrigley Field, phoned from his car and launched into North. North began responding angrily and Guillen subsequently hung up.

"I should have been talking to my kids in the car. Every time we play the series, I like to listen what the fans say about the series and what's going on," Guillen said. "It's a funny thing because at 9 in the morning I always sleep. I was mad at the way they were saying stuff."

I just had an image of him yelling in his car while his children sat there.

This guy will just never learn to just shut the fuck up. You're a manager dumbass, you're not a player. You actually have to use your brain and be a representative of the team and your guys.

To his defense, Mike North is a complete fucking tool, and was probably going on and on and on and on about it to get reactions.

i read something similar to this elsewhere on the web. apparently north instigated the whole thing, and beat the issue to death in an effort to get guillen to blow up.

Yea, he basically does it to all Chicago teams. The Sox could be 50-0 and he will be like 'well they're barely winning these games, Ozzie needs to do this or this etc etc.' and just beat the issue to death like you said.

Exactly, Mike North is an idiot and a coward. I heard it all live on the radio. It was a pussy move when North turned Ozzie's volume down so he couldn't get any words in, and kept telling Ozzie to "not talk down to him".

When you're Mike North, a six year old girl is allowed to talk down to you, because you're Mike North, and you suck at life.
