![]() So the Utah Jazz came into the draft knowing two things, they were going to take Scottie Reynolds at number 1, and if Hutchings or Jrue Holiday fell to 7, they were drafting one. They ended up with Reynolds and Holiday, making them have one of the youngest and scariest backcourts in the league. Reynolds brings it all to the table, with his scoring, passing and defence. Holiday is known for his ability to shoot the outside shot and not turn the ball over. Coming into the draft, the Jazz had only brought back one free agent, Trevor Ariza. Ariza played in 73 games for the Jazz last season. The Jazz only have 3 players currently signed and ready to go for the 2011-2012 season. However, they came into Free Agency this year with 42.5 million to spend, more then any team in the league. They have been rumored to be interested in several of the top free agents available this summer. It looks like there not going to save there money to sign the 7 first rounders they have next year, there trying to win now. It was reported they have offered contracts to Center Yao Ming, Power Forwards Pau Gasol, Elton Brand, and Kenyon Martin, Small Forwards Andrei Kirilenko and Peja Stojakovic, Shooting Guards Michael Redd and Paul Pierce, and Point Guards Mike Bibby and Tony Parker. The Jazz should be able to sign 3 to 4 of these guys at least, it will be interesting to see which of these players sign, and if there is a position which is crowded, then it will be intriguing to watch what types of trades Utah does, possibly using some of there first round picks this year, or even adding some, to make the 2012 draft for the Utah Jazz, the best in NBA history. ![]() Andrie Kirilenko to return to Utah? We had contacted Kirilenko's agent about what he would think of playing in Utah once again. He said that he loved the contract offer the Jazz placed, and he would definately like to come back to Utah and play. The only problem is he wants to win now, and he isn't completely sold that all these draft picks and free agents possibly coming in will help right away, so it's possible he would settle for maybe even the MLE somewhere, that's how unselfish he is. But Jazz fans would love AK47 back into the state. "I loved AK47, he knows how to play the game and he would bring us the defence and heart that Utah lacked last year." That was the though of one fan we interviewed, I am sure many other fans who bleed blue feel the same.
