I took a month off of lifting when I had a bone bruise. I have genetically bad feet and I have been putting all my weight on the outside of my feet. No worries I have a moon boot. I have not been lifting as much since I am suppose to wear this boot all the time.
Well when I took a month off for the bone bruise I had a knot in my trap the came at the same time. It was spasming and It hurt pretty bad. It was hard to have sex since I could barely hold myself up I was in so much pain. When I would sneeze it felt like somebody punched me in the back. (this was really bad because i have allergies and it was allergy season we didn't get any rain for a month). Well since my feet have been in pain since the doctor made me get get custom insoles (orthodics) they were close to 500$. My feet are trying to adjust since parts of my feet that have not had to carry any weight now have to carry a lot more. The orthodics are very very comfortable. Guys if you are on your feet all day. I highly recommend them they are 500$ comfortable. well back OT I have only been doing upper body exercises and I usually did a full body routine. Well once again this know it coming back. I am starting to think that squats were keeping the knot away. Iy is on the very top of my trap. I went three months w/o any pain and I was squatting 3x a week. I just thought I would share. I have physical therapy for my foot, I am in pain everytime I step because the one side of my foot is inflamed. I will talk to him about my knot. Last time I had pain I got a massage and it went away only for a few days but it came back. I think I will skip squats until I am sure it is healed.
