The Ravens have fired Brian Billick, according to FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer.
Everyone knows what the defense is capable of, but they have never really had a consistent offense, even with all that talent. |

this was a very bad firing in my opinion. the man brought a super bowl to baltimore for christ's sake. i blame the front office for this year's blunder, although the pat's game was billick's doing

Thank god they fired him. He has totally lost control of this team. There are reports now that Jason Garrett is the front runner for the job.

Jesus, what does a man have to do to keep his job these days. There obviously isn't any talk of firing him, unless JJ has went clinically insane and I don't know about it, but with the improvements he made to the team this year he should be there for a LONG time. The defense did pretty good considering they had a lot of injuries to key players. Ware and Ellis/Spencer are IMHO the best OLB tandem in the league, and that is a direct reflection of what Phillips is doing with the defense. They are third in sacks, four more than the Chargers so obviously his more aggressive schemes are paying off. With this team's youth and talent, I think they can be a/the elite team in the NFC for years to come. The Packer's youth and talent make me very excited; it will be just like the 90s again except the AFC actually has competitive teams, much less better
