Crennel to be with Cleveland until at least 2011 - The Postgame Pub

Browns agreed to terms with Romeo Crennel on a two-year contract extension through 2011. Scout.com's Adam Caplan reports the deal can be worth up to $4.2 million annually.

Crennel, the NFL's oldest head coach, entered 2007 on the hot seat, but earned job security by leading Cleveland to a 10-6 record. If not for the Titans and Colts' alleged Week 17 collusion, the Browns would've made the playoffs for the second time since 1994. Crennel is adored by his players, and along with GM Phil Savage, has put together a solid young roster. He will need to find answers on defense to last long enough to finish his new deal.

I wish him luck on improving over this past season, mainly because their schedule next season is BRUTAL.

It seems like anyone who's ever worked with Billicheck becomes a great coach. Well deserved, the Browns have been pretty bad but I think he is a great coach to be moving them forward.

Co-signed... I think with some good luck the Browns will get close to the Super Bowl.
