Browns sign Shaun Rogers
The Browns agreed to terms with Shaun Rogers on a six-year, $42 million contract. $20 million is guaranteed and he'll make $23 million in the first three years.
Replacing Tommy Kelly as the highest paid defensive tackle in the league. Acquiring Rogers in a trade was a gamble, and this ups the ante. Rogers may fit better in Cleveland's 3-4 defense than in Detroit, but he struggled with weight and motivation right after his last big contract. There's no doubt Cleveland's line is vastly improved though.
