Matt Jones arrested - The Postgame Pub

According to the Washington County, Arkansas Sheriff's Office, Jaguars WR Matt Jones was arrested early Thursday for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Jones is holding his head high in his arrest photo, but he'll probably be cut shortly. According to the Sheriff's office, Jones has a hearing set for Friday. This is Jones' first arrest in the NFL, but he was already on the roster bubble and has been a mainstay in Jack Del Rio's doghouse the past two years.

Well he's pretty much just cemented his fate in Jacksonville.
Buy up all the Matt Jones jerseys you can. He's done.
He was on thin ice as a bust, and this just sealed the deal.
Where do you think he's ending up after this?

Seattle needs wideouts, but Chicago and Dallas are the likely spots.

F him man. If I do coke then Im fired. No questions asked. Kick him out of the league and throw him in jail.

there has been alot of players that have been busted for coke...it shouldnt get them kicked out on right away..maybee after a treatment program and stuff and he still does it..then get him kicked out....

and you wouldnt get fired from your job for doing coke outside of work (most likely) but if you were on the job then i could see it...he wasnt on teh field when he got busted...

Michael Irvin got busted on a few occasions and only got slaps on the wrists....

I don't see him going to Seattle. They've got faith in Jordan Kent, Ben Obomanu, and Courtney Taylor. They're committed to these young guys in additon to Branch, Engram, and Burleson. Besides, Holmgren won't take troubled WR's. He gave Koren Robinson chances and all he did was fail him. He's not going through that one more time.

Young players. I know of them because I own their football cards and I've seen them in the pre-season games. Obomanu played a bit last year as a 4th reciever.
