Young's four-hour absence spurs call first to Titans, then police - The Postgame Pub

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville police were asked to search for Vince Young on Monday evening after family members placed a call to the Tennessee Titans informing them of their concern for the quarterback's state of mind. According to Nashville Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron, Young "abruptly" left his home in Williamson County at around 7 p.m. Monday without his cell phone. Those with him at his home, including family members, were "concerned with his emotional well-being," Aaron said. "He was located at a friend's house, where we made contact with him. He then came to the practice facility, where it was determined that those initial concerns by his friends and family were unfounded and he returned home without incident," the Titans said.

Young left the facility by himself in his own vehicle after speaking with Fisher and officers, police said.

Well, he did mention that he was comtemplating retirement after his rookie season, everything just sounds a little peculiar.

Like I've said since he was in college, He is a garbage pro QB and he always will be. Now he has off field issues to go along with that. Pshh this is the beggining of the end for Vince Young.

If there is 1 QB Darius trully despises..... its Vince Young, lol. I think he just isn't used to being booed ever. You know it was big when his closest friends called the police to check up on him...

Kerry Collins was pretty good when he was on the Giants. I think Collins is THAT bad to warrant #1 quality, lol.

I've just never liked Kerry Collins in general. I find it amusing though that two of the 3 QB's Darius doesn't like are with the Titans.

Yea that was total bs what his agent said. But at the same time, no one really knows what happened except Vince Young. It just shows how fragile even the best college football players are.

Vince Youngs problem is that he is too immature and careless about football. You can tell he's just one of those guys who cares about no one but himself. He doesn't care about he team, or winning games. He needs to take responsibility for himself. His actions do affect the people around him(his teammates).
