Despite limited playing time this preseason, the Raiders will employ Justin Fargas as their starting running back. Fargas has just eight carries and 28 yards in two games this month, but head coach Lane Kiffin said he's already aware of Fargas' abilities and will use the games to study rookie Darren McFadden, Michael Bush and Adimchinobe Echemandu. "It's a little different, but the approach is the same," Fargas said. "I'm just ready for the games to count. I kind of wish I could play the whole game, but I understand."

That reminds me... when is the fantasy league draft again?
And Fargas deserves to be the starter on day one. He did rush for 1000 yds last season with a much worse O line then we have now. I dont think he will last there all year though. Look for alot of split time. |

This is no surprise at all. Fargas is a stud and has put in his time on the bench. He's gained a shitload of muscle and runs very well between the tackles.

I like Fargas, but Mcfadden just looks too good and will only get better as he progresses. Just gonna have to wait and see.... What im interested in seeing is that DB squad they have there in Oaktown.

So what if we had Ladanian and McFadden was on the board. Should we take him JUST because he is the best available? |
