Rob Ryan to be next Oakland HC - The Postgame Pub

Just saw this. Looks like Rob Ryan will be named HC no later then Wednesday. This site is pretty accurate too. I not happy about letting Lane go but I want to get this shit over with and move on so we can have some consistency.

I have a feeling they won't do much better with Rob Ryan. He's never been my favorite coach...

Im on that site, and question the truth of that article. I do not think making Ryan HC will change anything that quick to Davis liking. Yeah Kiffin dug himself in deep, but let the man finish the season out. Next season most of the asst coaches will go. Some say Seattle and Niners. But either way Davis needs to either let the next coach make his own choices or he needs to get a GM and be done. He is more of a damn cancer to the Oakland raiders then anything. It drives me nuts at times.

does it really matter...this team is going to suck until AL sells...its the same scenario with the lions, until the ford family sells that team, they will always suck

Until Al Davis gives the team up, Rob Ryan will be the coach until the day comes that Davis leaves.

So that brings up a good thing to bet. Over/Under 15 wins in Rob Ryan's tendure as a Coach.
