Week 6. South Carolina AT Kentucky

We looked good shakey in the first half against an Ole Miss team that beat Florida in Florida two weeks ago.

The second half Chris Smelly some how got the offense clicking and lead a charge to take the lead.

Or D remains the best in the nation.


We play Kentucky in Kentucky this year. Last year we beat the shit out of them when they were ranked 8th in the country but we played in Columbia.

I see our D showing up to play as they have all year and our offense sputtering on and off all game long.

If we can keep the turn overs down we may get our 2nd SEC win this year.

Kentucky is not playing well this year but they are very good at turning turnovers into points. And we give up way too many damn turn overs.

If we can beat Kentucky, Tenn, and Florida we would still have a chance at the SEC championship game pending Ga loses one more conference game.

Damn our sputtering offense.

Why do you say Kentucky is not playing well up until last weekend they were undefeated but had not been tested and they kept it close against Bama?????

Bama has not played well against unranked teams this year.

Look back to the Tulane game.

Kentucky sucks this year.

S. Carolina held Ga to 14 pts.

We only gave one touchdown to GA.

If it wasn't for Mike Davis fumbling the ball in the inzone S.Carolina could be in the top 15 right now.

as I said before. South Carolina has the number one defense in the nation.

We just need to consistantly score 21pts or more a game and we could be undefeated right now.

actually TCU has the best defense in the country....Carolina is close top 5 falling behind Tenn.

Also I wasnt saying that Bama has played bad against unranked teams but you also have to consider that Kentucky is good....

#1 scoring Defense in the conference
Top 5 total defense in the conference which puts them right behind Carolina
Top 5 Pass Defense which should take out yalls passing game since they have the #1 pass defense efficiency

They also put up a decently strong running game against Carolinas strong defense but is weaker against the run than the pass

I haven't seen the latest numbers.


But to have the any top 5 D after playing GA is great.

How many point did they score against you guys and I consider Bama to be the best team in the nation hands down right now?

No Bama is not the best in the nation right now.....I would go with Texas on that one

Kentucky scored 14 on us...we had 17

everyone thought kentucky wasnt good just because they have not played anyone except bama but they are better than what most people give them credit for

Kentucky is going to get destroyed.

Kentucky has played only scrub teams.

Their QB was the only real play maker they had last year.

Their D is average at best.

I wouldn't say they will get killed by any means.

I am saying they are opprotunists and will capitalize on our mistakes.


The only reason Bama didn't beat the shit out of them is because they walked in there knowing they were going to win.

They did not play like the team that scored 31pts against Ga in two qts.

I was going to do that but I cant in the football section
