New York Giants Giants open to trading Jeremy Shockey

Over the last 24 hours or so, NY media has been reporting that Giants have made it known that Shockey is on the blocl for possible trades. This isn't because Boss is the better TE, it's because the Giants are tired of Shockey's antics. He skips the teams off season workouts to go train in Miami instead of working with Eli. This also rids the giants of the Anti-Eli. What I mean, it was always Shockey getting in his face or throwing him under the bus to the media. Now Shockey has no leg to stand on. Eli took that team through the playoffs and won them a superbowl...without Shockey.

Don't get me wrong, Shock is am absolute top TE. He's only 27 but he has health issues every year, but manages to average 60 catches and about 700 yards every year. Let's also not forget that he is probably the best blocking TE in football. Thats also part of the reason why he is unhappy with the Giants. more blocking is taking away from catching...so his agent says.

Default Re: Giants open to trading Jeremy Shockey

IMO, if shockey does go to another team... either way, it'll be a good pickup for sure

but hopefully we'll see what goes on with this situation soon
