New York Giants sign OT Shane Olivea - The Postgame Pub

The 6-foot-4, 312-pound Olivea was a seventh-round choice of the Chargers in 2004. Since being drafted, Olivea started 31 of 32 games in 2 seasons for the Bolts. In August of 2006, the Chargers rewarded Olivea with a 6-year, $20 million extension. The deal made him the sixth highest-paid right tackle in the NFL at the time. Due to his performance and his low draft position, Olivea is now considered to be a draft steal.

Nice insurance policy for our already solid o-line. You can't be too sure though, the injury bug (knock on wood) can strike at any time, which it didn't last year.

Thats a really nice pick up for the giants. Hoepfully they can do well again this year. Even though i hate them.

it's all good man, I hate the Jets even though they have camp at my school. I think they had a really nice offseason that could make them contenders.
