Head Coach Jon Grudens comments on RB Earnest Graham starting, “Well I’m not going to get into who’s starting and all that right now, but obviously if you watched him today he made some great runs inside the red zone. We worked exclusively in the plus-20 area today and he made some outstanding runs and a couple good blitz pickups. He’s a heck of a back.”

Gruden ran him into the freaking dirt that's why. The Buc fans better be glad that they have Graham since Caddy is out.

I like Gruden alot. We had some great years under him. Callahan used Grudens guys and system to get us to the Bowl that year. Gruden tore us apart.

well Gruden actually said that the Raiders didn't even change their audible calls by the time they met. How the hell were the Raiders gonna win that Super Bowl if the offensive personnel and verbiage were exactly how Gruden set it up?
and also, Gruden is a quarterbacks guy, so he just didn't know how to handle his top-5 selected running back when he had no good quarterbacks at the time to fall back on. If Cadillac can come back healthy, then him and Graham would be right up there in top 1-2 running back combos in the league. |
