The Atlanta Falcons have announced their cuts and among the players released are quarterback Joey Harrington and tight end Marcus Pollard. The Falcons previously had decided to go with rookie Matt Ryan as their starter at quarterback, and kept Chris Chandler and D.J. Shockley over Harrington.Pollard failed to make the season-opening roster after the Falcons had signed him following his recent release by the New England Patriots.

Joey just never seems to catch any luck. As for Marcus Pollard, he hasn't been able to stick with anybody. After completely f-ing up catches in the Playoff game against Green Bay (leading to his release with Seattle), he went to the Patriots then to the Falcons. Safe to say I think Pollard's done.
