Barry Sanders VS. LT

In their prime who is the better all around running back? I would have to go with LT.. He catches better he is a better blocker, he is just an all around better running back. Now I will say this, Barry was a hell of a lot funner to watch.

Barry hands down, had shitty offensive lines and still managed to get to where he is in history. He could have shattered the all time rushing record but chose to retire

Have you hit your head man? Yes Barry was a great RB. But LT is a much better all around back. He can run the yards make the blocks, and catch the passes. Barry was just a runner.

What is your point? 7 years compared to 10 years. Do the math man. LT can get to his numbers in 3 years. And even if he just gets close, he is still IMO a better all around back.

barry played 50 more games and had around 5,000 yards more....so LT could be better than barry numbers wise...but talent wise....no one will stand next to barry...he did more with less, no one in football history could have had the yards that Barry did with what he had in front of him....plus LT is a cry baby...i just dont like his attitude

barry had almost 3000 recieving yards thats not just a runner. Like i said, no Oline whatsoever. LT also has had good QBs tossing him the ball as well. Barry had none of that.

I suppose you think E Smith was a better back than Barry too :rolls eyes:
But Barry Sanders on the Cowboys and he has at least 18000 in 10 years

Thats the point im making, Barry had no real team around him. He was the O. His line sucked shit for everyone of those 10 years.

Barry was 2,000 yards away from the rushing record after 10 seasons.....that was just insane
