Lets here it guys. I am going Elway all the way on this. The man is a monster. Had more heart and more drive than any other QB in history IMO.

I voted for Marino but its pretty hard to tell. Marino never really had good teams but put up unbelievable numbers. No question he is a top 3 QB ever. Elway was obviously crazy good too. Just because of pure numbers, I'll go with Dan on this one.

Elway, you knew he was going to drive his team down field when they needed to. He's also won some superbowls. Marino may have never had the greatest teams around him, but in football I like to use rings as the measure of good players

Giants won that championship because Eli played a flawless postseason. I meant that ring comparison to seperate to great players. Brees and Palmer arguably had better offenses. Manning threw to a hurt Burress all year.

AZ just because it takes the boys over a decade to get back to the Super Bowl doesnt mean shit, the G-Men did the proper rebuilding and were back in 7 years
Eli himself has claimed that he's already put last season in the past and is looking forward to bettering himself as a quarterback, because he already knows he has room for improvement. But let's face it, 3 years as a full time starter, making the playoffs all 3 times with 1 division title, and a championship aint bad at all. Not to mention he was only the second quarterback to have a Super Bowl winning touchdown drive in the last minute of the game. So with that last point, and for the sake of staying on topic, I take Elway. |
