Alot of people I talk to about Randy Moss keep bringing up his 2 seasons in Oakland as a negative against him. During those two seasons I heard non stop about how Moss had "lost it" and did not have the same skills anymore. I defended him through the entire thing and kept saying he was still the best WR in the game. He just needed a team. NOT ONE WR in the NFL could have done anything on that team.
Here is a quote by Andrew Walter who had a terrible season in his first starting job during Moss' second year as a Raider. It backs up my point even more. "I would say it was a fiasco and I would say it was as clueless of a staff as I've ever heard. It was a complete joke. So, that was a hard situation. To be a quarterback who has never played, in that situation, certainly was difficult." The O-line was trash, the coaching staff was trash, and the play calls were trash. They went 8 games without a TD. It was a disaster. Thats my team, but a WR had no chance in that type of enviroment. |

I'll never let it go! Haha! And, the Pats think he is a good teammate! And yes Burgess needs to step the F up. He had a let down season last year. If he plays the way he can our Defense is going to be nasty.

I knew he would be back to his old form, just by his attidute improvement and gratefulness once he got traded to NE, plus when he ran the 4.28 40 or whatever it was it was obvious his physical skills had not diminished one bit. The Raiders just couldn't utilize his skills, that's all. Moss has always been one of my favorite players in the league, since that Thanksgiving game when he lit us up for 3 TDs with a 50+ ypc

Come on Darius. Let it go man... LOL We all know Moss is a great WR. But to say he is better than Rice is just blasphemy.

That wasn't even the purpose of the post. The purpose of the post was to say that he didn't lose his skills with the Raiders and that the team in itself was so bad that nobody could have done anything there.
