Daunte Culpepper sent Adam Schefter of NFL Network an e-mail to report that he was unwilling to take the deal from the Steelers that Byron Leftwich did. Culpepper is prepared to wait for a better opportunity and when he gets it, he believes he will shine. "The workout went great, as per the (Steelers)," Culpepper wrote. "I feel great. It was good to get out and show the Steelers that I am healthy." And now that he's healthy, Culpepper is ready to prove it to other teams.

There's two possibilities for him.

He's going to sign with Green Bay as a backup to Aaron Rodgers.
He's waiting for the season to go underway. When the star QB gets hurt, he gets his chance.

He is def waiting to see if a big name goes down. Hes too much of a eadcase to be a backup.

HA..a better job....its already been proven that he is a fragile QB that was nothing without Randy Moss.....he needs to shrink his ego and realize that he is not an elite QB anymore....he wont start for a contender and will be nothing better than a starter at a bad team or a back up at a good one...

But unlike Shaun Alexander, Culpepper has to adapt to whatever system he's involved with and he has to learn it asap.

alexander is done too.....he is old...he had a good run while he did but if he was still a decent back the seahawks wouldnt have let him go

FOX sports was talking that the only chance Alexander has to return to an NFL team was if the star RB got hurt. I'd love to see him get signed somewhere, I mean... He was my hero for the last 8 years.

If Taylor or Adrian go down he could work well with the Vikings and their huge O- line

Good point... And as for Culpepper, maybe a return to Minnesota if Jackson's injury is that serious?
