I know that great rookie seasons from wide receivers are rare, but who do you think will have the biggest impact in their first season?

How about Robert Meachem from the Saints?
I know he got drafted last year, But he can still be considered a rookie since he did not play a single game last season due to a leg injury. Last edited by 2.2L EH2; 08-18-2008 at 02:31 AM. |

I am also going with Hardy, I think he has the skills to be a good WR in this league and Lee Evans will help a lot as well.

I would say DeSean Jackson just because the Eagles WR corps are pretty thin and he is an asset in the return game.

Deshaun Jackson.....he has the best chance of being the #1 receiver on his team.....the other guys either are on a team with a couple decent receivers or a QB that sucks balls....i dont like McNabb but he can get a ball to a receiver...and with the ground attack of westbrook, they open up the passing game

Malcolm Kelly has yet to play due to a knee injury. Devin Thomas has potential but is still a little raw. I'm going with James Hardy here, he is ready to play now, and its easy to shine in Buffalo's receiving corps.

Trent Edwards is decent enough for James to produce, and Marshawn Lynch is one of the best young running backs in the game right now. The 1-2 punch of Lynch and Fred Jackson will help the Bills. I don't know if James will get double teamed...most teams will likely still consider Lee Evans their best threat, because right now, he is.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Mario Manningham make some sort of impact. Especially with Toomer and Burress still banged up with small injuries
