Richard Berthelsen Named Upshaw's Interim Replacement

Given the stunning passing of Executive Director Gene Upshaw, the NFLPA needed an interim replacement. Long-time NFLPA General Counsel Richard Berthelsen was the unanimous choice, according to Adam Schefter of NFL Network. Berthelsen could lead the union through the current Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, with a permanent replacement selected once a new deal is in place.
