Who will have a better year? Mcfadden or Jones - The Postgame Pub

I know it has only been one week. But after watching Felix Jones and Darren McFadden. Who do you think will have the better year.

Not trying to be a complete Homer but because Felix is on a much better team, I think he will have the better year. I am almost willing to bet that Felix will have more yards from scrimmage and just an all around better year.

Dude.. Have you seen the Raiders?? They are hideous.. Barry Sanders couldn't make it on that team.

I think that McFadden's numbers might look better in totals, but I like Felix will have a better ypc and will enjoy a full season of success while McFadden may get burnt out or injured. Felix will be getting plenty of carries and playing time even with Barber being there and with Romo being his QB he should be facing 7 in the box so he should be able to keep up the success on a sustained level.

felix jones will..the fact that he isnt a starter doesnt mean much..he will get his share of carries and he is on a MUCH MUCH better team....no one could run behind the raiders...

Probably McFadden. He has more of a prominent role compared to Jones.

Plus, Oakland's passing game isn't anything to go crazy about. They have no choice but to run the ball.

To me the reason McFadden will not have as good a year as Jones is the fact that teams will put up 8 man fronts. The raiders are so bad that McFadden is just about all they have.

Like you said, though, we're only about to begin Week 2.

Jones.

McFadden is not our starter. Justin Fargas is. Fargas played great against the Broncos and had 96 yds rushing with over a 5 yd per carry avg. They will split carries all year with Fargas getting the majority of them.

McFadden is slated to get 15-17 carries tomorrow, and his role should increase with each passing week.

Let's see how well that report holds up.

The situation that both of them are in, I think will benefit them. Neither really are going to be asked to win it all, because they're not even starting. Will there be games were they may be named the starter, temporarily, of course.

I think when people look back on it, Felix Jones will have the better season, because he can help the Cowboys out more than McFadden can for the Raiders. The Raiders are obviously in a transitional mode.

Jones is on a much stronger team than McFadden but I think McFadden will come out ahead by the end of the season. I think the Raiders will make him shine partly by their obvious flaws and I also think McFadden has more to prove.

Well if Fargas is out for an extended period of time then McFadden hands down will win now.
