Madden 09 Predicts the Pats go 11-5 with Cassel - The Postgame Pub

Madden 09 did a simulation with backup QB Matt Cassel as the starting QB. The game predicted that Cassel would lead the Patriots to a Division Chamipnship, and they go as far into the playoffs as the AFC Championship game where they would lose to the Colts.

Cassel's predicted stats:

QB Rating:	93.8
Yards:	2,124
TD:	13
INT:	9

Madden also predicted the Chargers and Bears to beat the Panthers. I don't take much stock in whta a biased EA rates players anyways.

While sometimes Madden/NCAA produces some close comparisons to real life as far as results are concerned, I don't see this being TOO far fetched. Unfortunately it can not predict injuries, which is what almost ALWAYS determines what team succeeds/fails.

The only thing that sounds believable about that is them losing to the colts!!! I would bet my whole bankroll they dont go 11-5 any takers?

Well considering the Panthers won both games in the last minute, I wouldnt say that prediction was too far off.
