not to hear ya complain about sports and ot sections' postings/threads

go in the members section and complain, not here

if you don't like the PWing in the OT section just cause it's taking over the sports sections, then go complain to someone to ban the PWs

I don't think taking away the post whoring would work, people need a forum to just goof off in, that being said, you need to find members willing to help post sports related threads, and as PJ said the mods of the sports' area should be putting more effort into posting news etc. of their respective forums, try games that are related to whatever sport you want pushed, have your friends join up if you can and help you out. The football area will get busier as the season gets closer and hopefully we will have enough members that love football to talk about the games in the game day threads but for now the off topic is at least keeping people here and posting.

Try affiliating with other sites, that brings in new blood.

Yeah, I dont want to take away the offtopic stuff at all. I just think that if the same effort was put into the sports forums as the offtopic ones, this place would explode.

Hahah Josh! I'm not into sports so thats why I stay in the OT. Maybe some people really like the sports, but just like watching them and not talking about them? I don't know?! But I kinda agree with Chubz it's summer and when people get off from work or on the weekend, if they have families they tend to do things with them. And people prob just enjoy the nice weather. I usually don't get on on weekends or ofter the man gets home( mainly b/c he is jealous, lol) Nah J/K! I think Sweets is right and football will pick up more as the season comes, football is the "big boy" of most sports and tends to have more fans who like to talk about and bash each others teams (not saying that in a bad way) in my O!

yea sorry I have not been around.....I have been busy with my school messing up some crap and it took me like 3 weeks of phone calls to get straitend out....anyway enough excuses I am here and phi I missed you we shall turn it around....like everyone else said the sports stuff will pick up when there is more to talk about
