Who is the best Joker, Nicholson or Ledger? - The Postgame Pub

For those that have seen The Dark Knight and the 1989 Batman, who do you think was or is the better Joker?

My pick is Heath Ledger's Joker. Just sinister and crazy, makes the 1989 Joker look like a clown at a birthday party.

I'm sorry but Heath Ledger's performance is honestly one of the best I've ever seen. He's striaght up creepy in the movie while Jack was just stupid. I was honestly creeped out with the new Joker, which is how I think it should be. No more corny one liners.

I think they wanted the new Joker to be different from the original. Jack fit the move BACK then, and Heath fits it NOW! I love Jack though...and his Joker was one of my favs of his.

So what do you guys think will they re-do all the Batmans? I sure hope so!

I'm still waiting for the Dark Knight to come out over here, but from what I've been reading I'm leaning towards Ledger. But I'll have to see the movie before I can really decide.

I just saw The Dark Knight. Fucking Amazing.

But my vote goes to Ledger. Just the way he did it... it was really, really done well. He's more of what the Joker is SUPPOSED to be in the comics from my understanding. Then again, the Christian Bale movies are done way better than the Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney movies.

But Ledger's joker... he's actually evil and twisted, the way the Joker is supposed to be. Nicholson's was just....

Oh hell. Nicholson danced to Prince. One of the most evil and murderous villians of Batman, dancing around in a museum to Prince music? I'm sorry, but I can't take him seriously. Ledger all the way.
