when i had one of these peicies of junk the ring of death started on mine only a month of having it. So i unpluged it dropped it on the ground and it worked until the PS3 was released and was rid of that junk box. it did work though

i have done this with 2 xbox's so far and it has working on both....i did them both tonight and i am exhausted after working on them for abotu 3 hours....
one more thing to add to the original post, the X-brackets are a part of the problem as well....you can do a couple of things with those....you can try to find some screws and washers that will fit or you can actually buy a replacement kit for them.... just a little add on to the thread and this is still the first one on the google search Last edited by P J Shaker; 08-09-2008 at 01:12 AM. |

worked for me and a few of my buds...Got it up and running in less than an hour. |
