well the season starts in a few days.....is anyone getting excited for the upcomming season?

i know i want to see what the red wings are going to be like after they added Hossa.....

Rolston, and Holik are back.

Too bad our defense still sucks.

I'm looking foward to seeing the Pens play.

The offense has the ability to outscore any team on any given day.

We did lose Hossa but we aquired some great goal scorers.

The D looks shakey.

But once Whitney and Ganchar come back from surgery we should look stout for the last run of the season into the playoffs.

We will have to see how our D steps up with so many key guys out.

Not really expecting big things out of the Isles this year. We're in the middle of a major overhaul with a new coach and a lot of young guys need to step up like Kyle Okposo, Blake Comeau and 1st rounder Josh Bailey who actually made the team this week. So the youth movement will be exciting to watch, and as long as we still have DiPi in the net we will compete until late in the season. He's the best American goalie out there right now. The biggest turnaround is not being last in the league in goals scored again.

The Rangers are 2-0, Lightning 0-2, the Pens are 1-1, and Sens are 1-0-1 after the 2 game sets played in Europe.

the red wings are going to dominate everyone and win the cup again..the have the deepest team

detroit does have depth....but you also have the rest of the NHL gunning for them this year.

Don't count out San Jose, dallas, the Pens or even the flyers until the playoffs get here.

the rest of the league will be a minor league once detroit gets on track and can fully incorporate Hossa, this team will dominate

There are alot of great looking teams in the league right now.

their are a few teams that have added some good player...i am actually wondering about chicago....they have gotten alot better in the off season...

and toronto looked good last night, the beat the red wings 3-2...

10 of the 18 skaters for toronto were not their last year...thats nuts
