Chien-Ming Wang is becoming a true ace - The Postgame Pub

There was alot of critisizm after last years poor playoff performance for Wang. So what did he do about it? He spent the off season working on his ither pitches besides his sinker. His new weapon, a slider that is just as nasty as his sinker. Wang always threw a slider but as he was coming up through the Yanks far, they made him go away from it due to the stress it places on your arm. He is now using thatpitch to put away hitters. His K/9 stats are already up this year. He's also working in other pitches. His sinker is still his weapon of choice, but now he can compliment it with the slider.
