We'll see.

His low ERA/high WHIP combination doesn't worry me that much because other pitchers such as Lackey post up similar stats, and still manage to get out of jams.


Cueto should really teach Volquez exactly what control is.

i'm just going on what i've seen from volquez after years of waiting for him to emerge for the rangers. he's way over his head right now, and it won't last forever.

I figured so.

I had the same doubts after the first few games, but now they are somewhat suppressed.
