Well you can't over look Cliff Lee fromt he Indians. His era is under .90. Wang has been good too, his K rates ar eup to due to his slider along with his blistering sinker. In the NL, no one is touching Brandon Webb, not even Johan

haha thanks.. but I think they were talking about AL cy young. Webb is easily the leader for cy young in the NL with an 8-0 record...
I know roy holliday has pitched some serious good games so far, but he doesnt have the wins to help out his caused. I think he pitched 3 straight complete games at one point this year. Then I think santana from LA is pitching really well, or at least one pitcher from the angels is.. i dont follow the AL as much as the NL sooo i could be wrong.

you must have just start watching baseball, like last year. cliff lee won 18 games in '05. matsuzaka lost 12 games last season, and you're telling me lee is going to falter instead of him?

its really early to say but another pitcher who has done really well so far is Livan Hernandez of the Twins. Jesse Litsch from the Jays as a 5th starter is doin very well. Cliff Lee is having a tremendous season so far. Ervin Santana is doin very good as well. If Halladay can get a string of wins together he could be a front runner very shortly as he has the most IP in the league so far

Livan gives up way too many hits, just like Cook, but he's been lucky so far. Eventually, it's all going to catch up to him.
Cook was shelled last night against a D-Backs team that didn't have Byrnes, or Jackson. It's only a matter of time before Livan suffers the same fate. |

i agree, i know he's 7-0 but he gives up alot of walks. Alot is an understatement. He's been able to pitch out of jams, but thats eventually going to catch up to him
