via ESPN and the Chicago Sun Times, The Bulls have made their choice and it will be Doug Collins.
I will miss his broadcasts as I feel he was the best in the business at it. That being said he is walking into a great situation in Chicago and the Bulls should be very happy to have someone like Collins who is a truely great NBA mind

I agree! He is a brilliant basketball mind and my favorite commentator. Im estatic that we are getting him back! Ive wanted him for years, but he has always said he doesn't want to coach again. Great Job Paxon. Im very excited to see what happens with trades and the draft now. Not sure who Doug likes out of Rose and Beasley but Im sure he will make the right choice along with Pax. Good day to be a Bulls fan!

Actually second I believe. Phil Jackson was actually Dougs Asst back then. Doug has come full circle now. I think the guy has a huge passion to win and I like that. He takes it very seriously.

Well it looks like its not 100% official just yet but I think they are just trying to be secretive for whatever reason. I fully expect a deal to get done before the draft.

I don't really like the move. It didn't work out so well for him the last time he coached in Washington but what other options do the Bulls have?

Yeah, he is a great announcer. He has a ton of basketball knowlege. It didn't work in Washington but that team was terrible. Overall they had nobody. Kwame was a bust ect.

Should be interesting to see how he does with all that talent and the #1 pick (which hopefully Paxson can work with to acquire a superstar). He has been out of coaching for quite some time now so it'll be a bit of an adjustment getting back into it.
