Ok I was thinking about this awhile back.
What If there was a series between American players and International Players who would win and why??? Here are my suggested Lineups: USA Center: Dwight Howard Power Forward: Tim Duncan Small Forward: Lebron James Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant Point Guard: Chris Paul International Center: Yao Ming Power Forward: Dirk Nowitzki Small Forward: Andrei Kirilenko Shooting Guard: Manu Ginobli Point Guard: Steve Nash |

With that lineup right there the International team would get clobbered. Also Nash is basically an american. He play a European style of basketball. However Against a full roster of International players put together the right way they could win. Its been proven already.

Defensively it doesn't really matter. Noone in the world can stop Lebron, Kobe, CP3 ect. Its all about if the USA plays as a team or not. We have the best athletes in basketball by a HUGE margin. Its just that TEAM basketball will beat out great individual play.

thats true i wud rather have a team that plays as a team than just one or two really good players and those two wud just take the load of the team themselves. these stars shud also have good role players that play team ball and not just only focus on themselves, but can sacrifice themselves for winning as a team. this is just like kobe, he realized that if he always takes the load then they lose, if he trusts his teammates, then they win.

While the US team has more size and star power, they lack shooters. Howard isn't really a low post presence so they could collapse on Duncan if the ball goes into him on the low block and cheat off the "shooters".
However with Paul's ability to get into the paint and create, it would probably be a dunk/layup line for the US because there's 4 other guys on the floor with Paul that can finish. |

Like I rlly like Okur's shooting touch. Darius what is holding back Okur from being a great center? Is it his defense? Cuz usually those types of shooting big men are pretty bad at defense.
