I think it had more to do with Boston's defense shutting down the paint and forcing him to take bad jump shots. He didn't try to take over too late, he was forcing way too much throughout the entire game. Oh yeah, then there was the Incredible Disappearing Lamar Odom who once again showed that you can never know what to expect from him. He wasn't on the boards, didn't get involved on offense, and was hesitant on defense because of foul trouble. Then you can add in Gasol's inconsistent and lacksadaisickal play on both ends of the floor and zero contribution from the bench. |

Lakers are coming out very aggressive, something they need to do. Pierce is playing great ball also, but one can only wonder how long he'll be able to hold up with his shaky left knee.

As someone who has torn things in his knee, I understand where he's coming from. When your knee pops, it scares the shit out of you so much it literally paralyzes you. That's why he laid there for so long and after he told them he thought he tore something. It's also why he was in a wheelchair, there was no reason for him to limp off on it to tear it even more.
He was scared he tore something in his knee and that's what happens, they were just being extra cautious since, you know, it's the NBA Finals. |

They won two at home sure. But now they go to L.A. for 3 straight. I think the Lakers will take at least 2 of them. Playing at home in front of all those celebs and crazy fans. Its going to be HUGE.

I like the Lakers not quitting at the end last game. It can go miles for someone to say "we know we can beat them", it's just a matter of playing your team's style of basketball and overcoming the Celtics' ability to outmucle the Lakers and force them to take bad shots. I think I'm going with L.A. tonight and possibly a big game for Gasol.
